6:10 p.m. -- The USGA has issued modified rules and handicapping for golfers who tee up with social-distancing restrictions.

4:55 p.m. -- Three more states have issued stay at home orders: Ohio, Louisiana and Delaware.

3:10 p.m. -- The LPGA’s first major, the ANA Inspiration, has been postponed to Sept. 10-13. Three other events have also been delayed.

2:22 p.m. -- The International Olympic Committee is going to wait four weeks and then decide whether to postpone this summer’s Tokyo Olympics.

10:15 a.m. -- When each professional tour is currently scheduled to return to action, according to Golf Channel.

8:00 a.m. -- Golf Channel reports that PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan is expected to forego his salary indefinitely durning coronavirus hiatus.
